Steps to Franchising Ownership

Your Path to Franchise Ownership with Lawn Doctor is Clear, Well Marked, and has No Surprises.

• Step 1: Talk to Us
  We need to get to know one another to determine if there is a good fit for both of us. This begins with your submitting an initial inquiry to us or calling us at 1.866.LAWN DOC. We don't sell franchises, we award them to qualified people that we feel will continue to build on the Lawn Doctors' track record. Let's talk.

• Step 2: Apply
  After learning some more about one another through an initial conversation, if we agree that Lawn Doctor feels like a good fit, your next step will be to submit an application for franchisee candidacy. At this stage you will be providing some more detailed information about yourself that will allow us to continue our process.

• Step 3: Program Review
  Once we have received your application we will schedule a phone appointment with you to explain, in great detail, Lawn Doctor's franchise program. This is an opportunity for you to learn a lot more about life as a Lawn Doctor franchisee and to get answers to more of your questions.

• Step 4: FDD Review
  Every franchise company must provide you with their Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD) in compliance with the FTC's franchise sales rule. The FDD is a uniform document consisting of 23 items plus the standard franchise agreement. We will schedule a phone appointment with you to review our FDD in detail. This step is always very helpful to our franchise candidates as reading the FDD can often be an overwhelming exercise.

• Step 5: Talk with Our Franchisees
  At this point you are ready to speak with Lawn Doctor franchisees. This is an exciting and very valuable step in the process as at this point you will have enough information about the nuts and bolts of the Lawn Doctor franchise offering to focus your continuing discovery efforts on how our franchisees are personally building their businesses, what opportunities and challenges they have, and their experience with us as a franchisor, etc.

• Step 6: Schedule a Formal Visit
  Candidates that progress this far in our process are invited to attend Discovery Day at our corporate offices. Discovery Day is your opportunity to meet Lawn Doctor's senior management team and staff, view our operation, and hear more about our vision for continued growth and industry pioneering.

• Step 7: Sign Franchise Agreement
  Once you feel good about joining our group and have made the informed, educated and positive decision to become a Lawn Doctor franchisee, the only thing left to do is sign your franchise agreement. This final step on your path to franchising with Lawn Doctor will begin your next chapter in life as a Lawn Doctor franchisee.
